Gabriel Peña, 39, of Presidio passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

He was born December 31, 1973 in Alpine to Marta Peña and Victor Carrasco Sr. A certified electrician until his disability in 2012, he was also a member of Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church in Presidio.
Gabriel was an awesome dad and very loving to his kids. He was very free spirited, loved the outdoors and to barbeque. He was friendly, playful, and very well liked by everyone, young and old.
Survivors include his wife, Alba (Dominguez) Peña; a son, Alfred (Freddy) D. Pena; a daughter, Lisa Marie Peña, all of Presidio; his mother: Marta Peña of Alpine; his father, Victor Carrasco Sr.; brothers Frankie Hartnett and Victor Carrasco Jr.; and his sister, Desiree Baeza, all of Alpine.
Rosary was the evening of Sunday, April 21 at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church in Presidio. Mass of Christian burial was the morning of Monday, April 22 at San Jose Catholic Church in Redford, officiated by Father Jose Alfredo Hinojosa. Burial was in the Redford Cemetery.
