Fort Davis native Felix Dominguez Jr., 83, passed away October 26, 2016. He had been a resident of Crane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service is 10am Friday, November 4 at the Crane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born January 3, 1933 in Fort Davis to Felix Dominguez Sr. and Anita Granado Dominguez. He married Barbara Ellison on March 30, 1984, in Fort Davis.
Before moving to Crane, he retired from the maintenance department at McDonald Observatory near Fort Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Crane; two sons, Henry Dominguez and wife Regina of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and Michael Dominguez of Austin; a stepdaughter, Tamara Maiera of Springfield, Oregon; a brother, Juan Dominguez and wife Lupe of Fort Davis; three sisters, Mary Ann Mendias and husband Ben of Van Horn, Aurora Acosta of Marfa, and Otelia Darcy of Pleasant Farms; also two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Siblings who preceded him in death are Elvira McGiver, Becky Garza, Lucia Benavidez and Raul Dominguez.
