Simona Carrasco

Simona Carrasco, 88, of Presidio, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 8, 2018.

Mrs. Carrasco was born January 8, 1929 in Presidio to Esteban and Seferina Alvarez.

She married Calistro Carrasco. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Mrs. Carrasco was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Cruz Terrazas and husband Freddy of Taylor; and her sons, Samuel Carrasco and wife Fafi of Odessa and Hector Carrasco of Presidio; also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calistro Carrasco and their son, Oscar Carrasco; her brothers and sisters, Esteban Alvarez, Octavio Alvarez, Francisco Alvarez, Inez Molinar, Concha Guerra, Manuel Alvarez, and Angel Alvarez.

Rosary service was the evening of Friday, January 12 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial was the morning of Saturday, January 13 at the church with burial in Desert Hills Cemetery
