Roy B. Parson, 67, formerly of Marfa, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 in Midland.
He was born December 25, 1945 to Bruce and Judy Parson in El Paso. Roy was a retired Border Patrol agent and a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Parson of Midland; his sons, Steven Parson of Thailand, Mark Rodriguez and his wife Mauri of San Angelo; daughters, Shelley Duke and her husband Steve of Lubbock, and Paula Bass of Midland; also his grandchildren, Shelby, Chelsea, Harley and Claudia Bass of Midland, Stephen and McKenzie Duke of Lubbock, Mikayla Martinez, Bryson and Bella Rodriguez of San Angelo, and a great-grandchild, Peyton Grace
He was preceded in death by both his parents and one sister, Glenda Parson.
A funeral Mass at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Midland was the morning of Tuesday, September 10. Family welcomed visitors the evening of Monday, September 9 at Ellis Funeral Home, at which time the Rosary was recited.
