Former Alpine mayor and Brewster County Commissioner Mickey Clouse, 89, of Alpine, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 in El Paso.
A longtime Alpine resident, Mrs. Clouse was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. She was a former Alpine mayor and a former Brewster County commissioner. She was active in several civic and community service organizations. She had recently moved to El Paso.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth and Jimmy Clouse of Alpine and Bobby Clouse of the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, and a son, Archie.
Visitation was the afternoon of Saturday, March 23 and the morning of Monday, March 25 at the Geeslin Chapel in Alpine. A service was the morning of Tuesday, March 26 at the First Baptist Church in Alpine. Burial was in Elm Grove cemetery.
Alpine Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
